The wonderful guys at the Hoopla Family asked me to design a logo and business card for one of their clients, an interior designer, the business named Elm.
The design I did is inspired on the elm tree, but I kept an overall contempory look. Each tree has ‘year rings’ that you see when you cut a tree. I stylised those year rings and used them in the ‘e’. The half circles also remind a bit of a fingerprint, which is nice as it says it that working with elm brings a personal touch to your home. The ‘m’ shows a very stylised leaf shape.
